"Sacking me won't change a great deal".

Well, we just beat top of the league.

Top of the league? You're having a laugh.

The first 30 minutes was probably the best first 30 minutes all season. We were all over them with chance after chance, balls going in and even Cordoba hitting the post. But somehow against the run of play they got the first goal.

Coventry should have been down to 10 after Mattsson was subjected to an appalling elbow to the face which astonishingly went unpunished. Try that in the Premier League next season with VAR and you won't get away with that sort of shit sunshine. Considering Kenny McLean received a ban for violent conduct last season, you have to hope the same happens here. Luckily it was covered heavily on Sky Sports so they can't exactly hide away from it.

It was a very positive first half despite going in a goal down, but we immediately got one back with Slimane before Ali Ahmed bagged the second 20 minutes later. These two have been on fire in recent games with goals and assists from both of them.

Fisher got what looked like another elbow to the face and Clement getting a yellow for remonstrating with the fucking atrocious referee, and there was a poignant and well observed minute's applause for in memory of the ling term fan who sadly passed away after the Walsall FA Cup game.

After some nervy spells towards the end of the game, we saw it out to repeat the same scoreline from last season. Kellen Fisher deserves a special mention for being excellent again all game, and Ali Ahmed seems like a fantastic signing and has fit right in giving it some to the Barclay after the final whistle. Who needs Josh Sargent? It was good to see Harry Amass' debut too after a bit of a coup in managing to sign him, who looked sprightly and should be a great addition for the rest of the season.

This was a huge, huge result. From losing to Sheffield Wednesday to beating top of the league. Following the win against an in-form Wrexham and the thumping win over West Brom, the change in this team has been astonishing. Philippe Clement is a genius and should be given the keys to the city. Fuck off are we getting relegated. OTBC.
