Well, that was more of a slog than it needed to be. With Leicester receiving a 6 point deduction for breaching FFP and Blackburn a point below us, this was a 6-pointer in our quest to pull away from the bottom 3, but nobody seemed to have told the team that.

Diallo had to go off during the warmup, and we were clearly missing Mattsson in midfield for at least the first, as it was a sluggish and flat affair with no real shots on target.

Makama went down with a twisted ankle which hopefully isn't going to be a long term injury, as I'm not sure Sargent is going to come back into the fold, but new boy Mo Toure came on in his place, followed shortly after by fellow new boy Sam Field as well as Schwartau.

The game changed after this, and 10 minutes later Schwartau hit the post before Slimane slotted home the rebound. Five minutes later Kvistgaarden came on, and only a minute later we were 2-0 after another effort from Schwartau was kicked out by the Blackburn keeper right into the path of Toure to bag a goal in front of the Barclay on his debut.

We needed to win this one and while it wasn't a pretty watch for the most part, we picked up in the second half and got those vital 3 points. Schwartau was excellent as always. Kvistgaarden was like a little Terrier fighting and scrapping and beating his man to balls in the air, including putting Schwartau for his shot leading to the second goal - I wish he had more game time as he's always fun to watch. Hopefully Toure continues to find the net and become another good signing alongside Ahmed. It was also the return of former Canary Todd Cantwell to Carrow Road, which the Barclay didn't let him forget, and neither did McLean after he earned cheers for multiple challenges throughout the game.

I'm missing the FA Cup game against West Brom, but hopefully the next 3 league games yield similar results and we can put thoughts of relegation behind us.
